Construction Report: June, 2002
By Kevin Wakelin, Project Manager
May has come and gone and summer is upon us. The weather in Walnut Creek has turned very hot and dry over the past couple of weeks. Glad we’re almost done with this and won’t have to endure the heat much longer. If it’s not the rain, it’s the heat!
During May, we saw the continuation of the site improvements, grading and landscaping around the recently completed buildings, as well as several more owner move-ins. With the completion of each new building, more landscaping has been installed and the project moves closer to having the look of a completed development!
The work on building 1 continues with the completion of framing and the application of stucco. With the change in weather, we were also able to charge the condensers for the HVAC systems of all units completed during the winter months. By now, everyone at IHL would be cool and comfy!
That’s it for this month’s update. As always, don’t forget to check the Construction Report next month for additional updates on our progress, and if you haven’t registered already, please take a minute to
register with us and we will keep you abreast of the latest and greatest at Iron Horse Lofts!
Regards,
Kevin
